Asociacija „Tavo Europa“
Tavo Europa is a non-governmental organization that focuses on building civil society and establishing the rule of law in Lithuania. Our NGO is created to serve as an educational organization that gathers trainers, youth and social workers, youth policymakers, experts, and volunteers with different competency levels to create and be actively involved in civic activities. We are working on embracing diversity, and dealing with fears that can arise from ignorance or stereotypes.
Tavo Europa provides a supportive environment to allow young people to develop their talents and skills. The support provided helps to prepare them for finding suitable education and/or employment in their desired field.
The objectives of the association:
– To promote diversity and inclusion values among young people;
– To fight stereotypes and xenophobia among young Europeans;
– To strengthen the knowledge, skills, and behaviours needed to fully accept, support and promote the differences in society;
– To involve people with fewer opportunities in international projects;
– To support and promote local initiatives;
– To support and promote youth involvement and voluntary work in the benefit of the communities;
– To cooperate and fight against racism, discrimination and corruption.
An important objective is to promote actions and activities which will stimulate young people to develop a better life for them and their peer. We are raising awareness on specific issues regarding young people, developing partnerships amongst youth organizations around the world and continuously involving disadvantaged youth in international mobility.
Belen Kaymakamligi
The district governorship of Belen was established on May, 20,1990. It is seen as General Administration of Belen. In Belen Governorship, there are 14 public bodies in the form of organization of service.
As a district governorship, we are charged of projects experts in some various institutions to get fund of European Union and to provide encouragement and support for preparation of projects through the Belen town. Our government works for achieving the European Union standards of living conditions and maintaining these standards. The integration of the people coming from socio-economically disadvantaged groups in Belen into the education, employment and society is one of our missions. Therefore we endeavour to integrate the young people in social and professional life effectively by organising the professional technical and vocational courses, seminars, projects, guidance and communication. By this way, we aim to ensure the required contributions for affairs in the institutions of Belen and for all people especially for youngster. Till now, total 305 participants (youngsters and teachers) have a chance to participate Erasmus+ projects.
Moreover, our district governorship gives a public services without distinction of religion, language, race, age group, ethnic origin, belief, region, whole people in living there(especially women, youth and children including disabled in society) youth, gender equality, environment, health, human rights, disability rights, children’s rights, consumer rights, cultural rights, civil rights, social exclusion, discrimination of all kinds struggle, equality, democracy and good governance, culture, art, gender, health and welfare, education , the environment, rural development, tourism, environmental protection and nature conservation, urban development-beautification, preschool education, children sent to school, child labour cultural heritage.
For women, with our local project, we open Belen Women Center. They can participate handicraft courses, activities freely.
In public schools, there are 1530 Syrian students and 36 teachers for increasing the integration of them into the society and national educational system in Turkey.
For integration of refugees, we organize some courses like handicrafts and marbling not only for students but also for women. They work and learn together and they feel equal. Moreover, we organize literary courses and seminar for refugees to teach them the language of the host country and culture to make feel them safer and less isolated in Turkey. Because it is an essential dynamic of a high quality refugee education.
For the Syrian refugee students, we organize some sports tournament like volleyball, football. We let youngsters experience how sports motivate them and how sports important for them. Because sports, with its economic, social and individual aspects, has a very important role in raising healthy generations, public health protection, economic development, building social peace and the development of social harmony. Therefore, we put more effort in developing sports habits and sports culture towards students.
Namely, it is the main public authority which is responsible for the issues on education, healthcare, tourism and culture, youth and sports, environment and forestry, social services, agriculture, industry and trade in Belen.
Bulgarian Youth Forum
Bulgarian Youth Forum is a youth organisation, which supports the young people in their efforts to be complete and active persons in the society. In this connection we aim to establish and facilitate socially beneficial activities, having a direct and indirect impact on developing the youth potential. On account of this we have activities in different spheres which can be of interest for the young people like human rights, social work, tolerance, saving of cultural and historical heritage, developing the tourism in unpopular region and supporting the appearance of new working places for the young people there and so on. As our members are with different social and cultural background we know how important it is for them to have equal possibilities for personal and professional development and to play an active role in the society. Through this we show the young people how important is to live in peace and to be united as this is a way to promote the democratic virtues and make them a stable base for the prosperity and development of our society.
Since late 2012 Bulgarian Youth Forum is officially a basic institution of the Faculty of Education at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. Experts from the association organize and carry out the pre-diploma practice of the students from “Non-Formal Education” bachelor programme in the Faculty of Education.
Do Great Things Latvia
Organisation is very recently founded youth organisation. The members had previous experiences as youth workers in other NGO’s, and decide to stablish an organization together. Our members have been involved in all stages of youth exchanges and training courses. (planning, defining roles and responsibilities of project partners, through meetings, preparation, logistics, communication between all partners involved, arranging project timetables, as well as promotion of projects and dissemination of their results through our Internet pages.)
Organisation is engaged youth initiatives support, project consulting, couching, mentorship, public events organisation (workshops, seminars, training courses, board games events, acceleration programs).
We are working with young people with fewer opportunities and have good practical experience integrating them in our projects.
Seiklejate Vennaskond
Seiklejate Vennaskond is a youth and civil society organization, which connects active adventurous people together. We work mainly with young people, but also with youth workers, trainers, teachers and organizations active in non-formal education field and lifelong learning. Our members have participated and organized different youth exchanges, seminars and training courses concerning equality, fight against racism & xenophobia, human rights, mobility and migration, environment protection, healthy lifestyle, no hate speech movement, refugees and other issues. Our volunteers gather every month to take up new ideas and think how to put them into practice. We sincerely believe that young people today can make a difference and we all work for this purpose.
First activities of the organization date back to the year 2003 when a group of active young people got together to organize a youth exchange. After that there have been many local regional activities concerning integration, adventure tourism and different interest specific activities. Since 2010 Seiklejate Vennaskond has become from a non-formal youth group to a registered non-profit organization.
Throughout the years we have organized and coordinated different types of projects: youth exchanges, training courses, partnership building activities, seminars, European Voluntary Service, strategic partnership and capacity building projects. Currently we are focusing also on European Solidarity Corps widened possibilities on a local level.
